Hunting!

Whether you are a novice or expert hunter, we will tailor a hunt to suit you - the hunter. Our goal is to ensure that you have an adventure of a lifetime. We do everything in our power to make this happen!

We use different methods to hunt the largest of the deer family (moose). Spot and stalk, tree stands - which give us a better field of vision or travelling the river system in our 22 foot freighter canoes also produces some good opportunities. During the rut, calling makes for a very interesting and exciting hunt. Our guides are very experienced and have all the skills necessary to get you your animal and take care of it after. After you have had your hunting adventure and have taken your animal of choice, we will then take it to a reputable butcher to have it cut and packaged to your satisfaction. Success rate for moose is in the high 90 percent range. Success rate is close to 100% Our hunting season goes from mid-September to late October.

We also offer a baited spring bear hunt which has a success rate of 85-90 %.

The Bottom line is if you are looking for an affordable hunting adventure that will give you memories to last a lifetime, then drop us a line or give us a call.

Hunting gear you will need.

As with any hunting adventure you will need certain equipment to take along. We recommend a rifle of 30-06 or greater calibre. Weather is always a factor in an outdoor adventure and nowhere is this more true than Newfoundland, as one of the old sayings here is "if you don’t like the weather then wait 5 minutes". Waterproof clothing is a must with good comfortable footwear on the top of the list as your feet get the worst of the punishment when hunting. Blaze orange is not mandatory in Newfoundland but we recommend that you have at least a blaze orange hunting cap. Early fall isn’t usually cold, but we do have the occasional frost so some warm fleece is suggested.

Don’t forget your camera as you will want to have some great photos of your GREAT SHOT to show your family and friends.
